RIGHT LEADER AT RIGHT TIME FOR THE RIGHT REASON
Working To Bring Back West Virginia Values of Strong individual rights and Leadership to the 78th district of West Virginia
Meet Diane Market Gaston
The Next Community Leader
For House of Delegates
My roots and my values grew out of my blue collar working family, of which I was raised. My father, Herb, was a printer and my mother, Frances, was a retail work and then a stay at home mother.
After graduation from high school I attended vocational technical school to be a dental assistant and worked in dental office for over 9 years. I began my college career at the age of 24 and completed my MSW (Masters In Social Work at WVU and obtained my special education teaching certification
My social work career has been primarily in the field of addictions. I was with WVU for over 10 years working with clients, managing a hospital department and teaching. The recent death of my husband, Bill, has moved me into a managing member of a small business, DWG Oil and Gas Acquisitions.
My daughter, Samantha, and son-in-law, Dave, have 2 children, Michael and Lillian, and live in Morgantown. Samantha and Dave both graduated from WVU. My son Ben and his wife Keisha also live in Morgantown.
I am running for House of delegates because I believe in core West Virginia values. Focus on family, independence, individual rights and love of these mountains.
